Day 1: Arrival at Byxelkrok
Start your adventure in Byxelkrok, a charming coastal village on Öland's northern cape. Choose to drive or take the ferry M/S Solsund from Oskarshamn. You check in at Solö Wärdhus, perfectly located in the heart of the village. Pick up bikes at Byxelkrok's bicycle rental and enjoy a relaxing day in the marine environment. End with a good dinner at The harbor pub, where the sea is your nearest neighbor.
Day 2: Discover Neptuni Åkrar, Långe Erik and Trollskogen
Start the day with another bike ride Neptuni Fields, a fascinating cobblestone field that stretches along the coast. Continue to Öland's northern cape and visit the stately lighthouse Long Erik, built in 1845. Cycle on to Trollskogen, where twisted trees and hiking trails meet you in Bödakusten nature reserve. Here you can also see an old shipwreck - a memorable part of your day.
Day 3: Choose your adventure
Böda Beach and Sunset
Take another trip Bøda beach, Sweden's longest sandy beach, and enjoy sun, swimming and sand between your toes. Return to Byxelkrok for a magical sunset at the lighthouse or a swim at the pebble beach.
Skäftekarr Ecopark
Explore Shaft marsh, an Iron Age landscape 15 km to the south. Experience a rebuilt longhouse and stroll among orchid-filled meadows, leafy groves with giant oaks and barren sand dunes.
Blue Virgin – The mythical Island in Kalmarsund
Take the tour boat to Blue Virgin, an island filled with legends and stories. Explore its unique nature and mysterious rock formations. Keep in mind that the weather can affect the trip - check the tours on arrival.
Day 4: End in Byxelkrok
Last day on Öland. Take the opportunity to enjoy the silence and collect memories before the journey home. Revisit a favorite place or experience one of yesterday's adventures that you haven't yet had time for.
