Day 1
Söderköping – Norsholm Söderköping (approx. 28 km)
Start your cycling holiday in Söderköping and follow the quiet, car-free gravel roads along the Göta Canal. Pass small locks, picturesque bridges and idyllic canal environments. The tour is easy to moderate and takes 2–3 hours at a leisurely pace.
After the bike ride, you check into a cabin at Korskullens camping, where you can relax and enjoy the evening air by the canal.

Day 2

The tour starts in picturesque Söderköping where the boat leaves the quay at the guest harbor. On board M/S Athena We first pass through the Söderköping lock and then continue along the beautiful canal to The brickworks lock, also known as Nyqvisten's lock. Here we pass a drop of 2,3 meters before the journey continues towards the canal's last and historic lock – Mem.
At Mem, the Göta Canal was inaugurated in 1832 when the royal hunt Esplendian passed the lock. During the tour you will experience the feeling of being locked through the same historical passage and then continue a short turn out onto Smooth-backed and Baltic Sea before the boat turns back towards Söderköping.
The approximately three-hour boat trip on the Göta Canal offers beautiful views, historical stories and a relaxing journey through the Östergötland landscape. On board there is the opportunity to enjoy a summer lunch and refreshing drinks, which makes the experience even more memorable.

Söderköping – Mem – Söderköping (approx. 16 km)
Day 3 takes you to Mem, where the Göta Canal flows into the Baltic Sea. The ride is 8 km one way, which makes for about 16 km round trip. The terrain is easy and car-free, perfect for all cycling levels. Enjoy the canal's outflow into the Baltic Sea, small locks and picturesque piers along the way.
