DAY 1: Söderköping – Mem – Söderköping (Cycle ride 12 km)

Start your cycling holiday along the Göta Canal with a quiet and scenic ride from charming Söderköping to picturesque Mem at Slätbaken. During this 6 km long tour, you cycle along car-free roads with the canal as your faithful companion, where boats glide along at a leisurely pace. Discover Söderköping, a Visby in miniature and the filming location of the loved ones The Madicken films. End the day with one luxurious 3-course dinner at Söderköping's Brunn.

DAY 2: Söderköping – Ljungsbro (Cycle ride 23 km)

Experience the unique the bicycle boat Roxen Snabben, which is included in your tour! Cycle along the historic the towpaths at Göta Kanal and then take the cycle boat across the beautiful Lake Roxen, saving you from the hilly stretch of road around the lake. The journey takes about 45 minutes, and you avoid the exhausting cycling. After the journey you reach Berg's Locks, one of the biggest tourist attractions along the Göta Canal. Here you check in at Ljungsbro Hostel, where you can relax in their Jacuzzi and sauna. Dinner is served at Bergs Slussar, just 3 km from Ljungsbro.

DAY 3: Ljungsbro – Motala (Cycle ride 19 km, Boat ride 2 hours)

Enjoy a 2-hour tour passing locks and aqueducts, while the skipper tells you about Göta Kanal's history and guides through the steepest lock stairs in Borenshult. During the trip you will enjoy lunch on board. After the boat trip, you disembark Motala, where you can explore Göta Kanal's capital and check into your hotel.

DAY 4: Motala (Return to Söderköping or Home)

After a cozy breakfast at the hotel, you take a bus or train back to Söderköping or further home, with memories of an unforgettable summer trip along the Göta Canal.
