In the middle of the medieval charm, you are not only close to the pulse of the city, but also to the peaceful hum of the nearby sea. This day is yours to lose yourself in Visby's atmosphere – historic buildings and cobbled streets await. Round off the evening at a local restaurant with Gotland delicacies such as lamb and saffron pancake.

Day 2
Cycling adventure from Visby to Warfsholm – via spectacular Högklint (35 – 40 km)
Let the summer breeze guide you through one of Gotland's most beautiful cycling routes! From Visby's medieval cobblestone streets, you pedal south, where the sea sparkles in the sun and nature opens up in a magnificent landscape.
A little outside the city's pulse you reach Högklint – one of Gotland's most impressive nature reserves. Here you stop at the 48-meter-high cliff and enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and Visby's rooftops in the distance. Perhaps you take a break with a picnic while the seagulls sail in the blue sky.
The journey continues through winding country roads, past open meadows and lush forests, where the scent of pine and wild roses mingles with the saltiness of the sea. Along the way, charming cafes and farm shops with local delicacies beckon – perfect for a break before pedaling on towards the day’s destination.

After about 35 km you reach Warfsholm, a summery idyll by the water. Here you will spend the night in an elegant turn-of-the-century villa, surrounded by greenery and with the sea right next door. Relax on the veranda, enjoy a dinner with Gotland flavors and let the sunset over the water be the end of the evening.

After a good night's sleep and a delicious breakfast by the sea, you're ready for more discoveries on Gotland's fantastic cycle routes.

Day 3
Cycling holiday from Warfsholm to Burgsvik – via the magical Ekstakusten (45 – 55 km)
Leave Warfsholm behind and embark on one of Gotland's most scenic cycling routes - a trip where the sea is your constant companion and the barren Gotland nature offers an incomparably beautiful spectacle.
The cycling holiday heads south through open landscapes, past grazing lambs and flowering meadows. Soon you will reach the Ekstakusten Coast, one of Gotland's most impressive stretches of coastline. Here the gravel road winds along the sea, and you cycle with a wonderful view of the sparkling blue Baltic Sea and the mighty Karlsöarna islands rising on the horizon. This part of the route is perfect for stopping, taking a refreshing dip in one of the small coves that line the road, or just enjoying the silence and the wind that creeps through the pine trees.
As you leave the Ekstakusten behind, the journey continues through charming villages and quiet country roads before reaching Burgsvik. At the B&B, a comfortable bed, a hot shower and an evening where you can relax in the garden or take a walk along the beach as the sun sinks into the sea await.
After a good night's sleep and a long breakfast with a sea view, you are ready for new adventures on Gotland's beautiful cycle paths.

Day 4
Burgsvik to Hoburgen – a day trip through southern Gotland's most beautiful landscapes (40 – 50 km)
Wake up to the sound of the sea at Burgsvik B&B and start your day with a delicious breakfast before setting off on one of Gotland’s most scenic bike rides. Today’s destination is the mythical Hoburgen at the bottom of the island’s southern tip – a place where sky and sea meet in a dramatic landscape of limestone cliffs and endless views.
The bike ride goes through a rolling landscape of open fields, grazing lambs and old limestone farms. The road winds through picturesque villages where time seems to have stood still. Soon you will reach Sundre, one of Gotland's most charming parishes, where you can take a break at Sundre Church and its beautiful surroundings.
As you approach Hoburgen, the landscape opens up and the sea spreads out before you. Here stands the famous rauken "The Hoburg Man", which with a little imagination resembles an old man's face. The view from the cliffs is breathtaking – a perfect place to settle down, feel the sea breeze and enjoy the vast horizon.
After a short rest, it's time to cycle back towards Burgsvik. Maybe you'll stop for a coffee on the way or take a detour to one of the small hidden bathing coves. When you return to the B&B, a well-deserved dinner with local produce awaits, followed by a relaxing evening by the sea.

Day 5
Bjursvik to Ljugarn – a fairytale journey through Gotland's eastern pearls (55-65 km)

Today’s ride offers spectacular views, picturesque villages and a sense of freedom as you follow the peaceful roads through Gotland’s landscape.
The bike tour begins with a leisurely ride along Lilla Varholmen, where the scent of the sea follows you as a constant reminder that you are on the southeastern tip of Gotland. You pass through lush forests and vast fields, and every new turn offers new views of the landscape. The road between Ljugarn and Katthammarsvik is one of the most beautiful in southern Gotland, and here you will pass small villages, winding gravel roads and nature reserves that make it feel like you are cycling through a postcard.
As you approach Katthammarsvik, the Gotland coastline begins to open up, and on the horizon you can see the characteristic cliffs that line the bay. Stop here to enjoy a break by the water, or take a walk along the small harbor and admire the view of the sea.

After a lovely lunch or coffee break in Katthammarsvik, which often offers local delicacies from the sea, it is time to turn back to Ljugarn. The way home offers new views and more opportunities to enjoy Gotland's nature, before returning to Ljugarn for a relaxing dinner and a good night's sleep.
